Andrew and Marianne are a must visit farmstay. They have an array of unique farm animals and pets for you to meet and cuddle with. You will be immersed in fun farm activities and beautiful, mountainous scenery. They are super lovely hosts who will look after you. They are located only 1 hour away from Melbourne and the Yarra Valley.

Location: Broadford, Victoria 3658 – 1 hour and 12 minutes from Melbourne.
Closest Train Station: Broadford Station, Seymour Line.
Farm Details: A Merino sheep and Angus cattle farm with cattle, calves, sheep, 3 pigs, 1 alpaca, 1 goat, 2 horses, chickens, quails, ducks, turkeys, ducks, fish, 2 dogs (out), 1 toy poodle dog (lives in laundry), 1 cat (in & out), local wombat, wild birds and a creek with fishing/yabbying.
Farm Activities: Tour of the farm, hand feed animals, collect fresh chicken eggs to cook/eat for breakfast, see/learn sheep dog round up, milking the house cow, gold panning, sorting/classing wool, pick some fresh fruit/vegetables, plant something in the vegetable garden (seasonal), collect firewood & star gazing.

Train/public transport – using the train to access farms in Victoria is convenient and affordable, with trains connecting each of the regions where our farms are located.

Most trains depart from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station or Flinders Street Station. Simply catch the train to the station closest to your farm and your farm host will provide complimentary transfers to and from their farm. Train tickets are at your own expense.

Private car transfer – available upon request at an additional cost.

Self-drive – if you choose to self-drive, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how to get to your farm.
