FAQ

Q:  Can we go horse riding on a farm?

A: Unfortunately no, we cannot offer horse riding on any farm due to special insurance cover being required for this activity. Only horse riding ranches can undertake this activity.

Q: What is the minimum number of guests on a farm?

A: For a single traveller we can arrange for a suitable farmstay, however for groups the minimum number of guests is 2 on each farm. For large groups we suggest that 2-6 guests on each farm is better, with 4 guests being the preferred number. The occasional farm can host more than 6 guests at a time. Please ask us to check their availability.

Q: What happens if a guest becomes sick on a farm?

A: The farm family will contact us and we can arrange for medical assistance as soon as possible. We provide 24 hour assistance with the farm family and guests during the farmstay.

Q: What can I do if I am allergic to certain animals?

A: Please let us know and we will always endeavour to provide you with a suitable farmstay that will leave your experience allergy free.

Q: What can I do if I have certain dietary requirements?

A: Please let us know and we will endeavour to place you with a farm family that is happy to cater for your needs.

Groups

Q: How soon can you provide the farm family list before the tour starts?

A: If it is a small group, we prefer to provide the list 1 month before the farmstay starts, but for large groups we can provide this list earlier.
